This Privacy Policy explains how Altic LLC ("we", "us", "our", or "BookMyRealEstate") collects, uses, and shares personal information when you use bookmyrealestate.com and any related services (the "Services").
By using the Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. Who we are

Altic LLC is a [STATE OF FORMATION] limited liability company. BookMyRealEstate.com is an online listing platform that connects US real estate agents with prospective buyers. We are not a real estate broker, agent, escrow agent, or transaction intermediary.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you provide
If you are an agent:
- Account information: name, business email, phone number, brokerage affiliation, real estate license number and state, profile photo, bio, areas served, social/booking links.
- Listing information: property details, photos, video links, descriptions, pricing, status.
- Payment information: handled by Stripe; we receive transaction confirmations but do not store full payment-card details.
- Identity verification: information you submit to verify your real estate license.
If you are a buyer:
- Email address (verified via one-time code).
- Messages you send through our chat feature.
- Visit-request details (preferred dates, time window, notes).
- Listings you save or favorite.
- Optional: any other information you choose to share in chat or on the platform.
2.2 Information we collect automatically
- Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, referring URL, pages viewed, links clicked, timestamps.
- Cookies and similar technologies: session cookies, authentication tokens, analytics cookies. See §6 (Cookies).
- Analytics: aggregate usage statistics via Google Analytics 4.
- Location: approximate geographic location inferred from IP address (used for surfacing locally relevant listings).
2.3 Information from third parties
- Stripe: subscription and payment status.
- License verification sources: real estate license validation data from state regulators and/or ARELLO.
- Authentication providers (if used): the limited profile information you authorize.
3. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Services.
- Verify real estate agent licenses and identities.
- Publish agent profiles and property listings (agent-provided content is intended to be public).
- Facilitate chat and visit-request communications between buyers and agents.
- Process payments and manage subscriptions.
- Send transactional emails (verification codes, chat replies, visit-request notifications, billing).
- Send service-related notices (changes to terms, security alerts).
- Provide customer support.
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, spam, abuse, and violations of our Terms.
- Comply with legal obligations, including Fair Housing Act requirements and responses to lawful requests.
- Analyze usage to improve the Services.
- With your separate consent, send marketing emails (you can unsubscribe at any time).
4. How we share your information
We do not sell personal information.
We share information only as described below:
- Public content: Agent profile information and listing content are intended to be public and indexable by search engines.
- Between buyers and agents: When a buyer chats with or sends a visit request to an agent, that buyer's email address and message content are shared with the agent. When an agent responds, their content is shared with the buyer.
- Service providers: We use third parties to operate the Services. Current providers include:
- Google (Firebase, Google Cloud) — database, authentication, file storage, push notifications, analytics.
- Vercel — website hosting.
- Stripe — payment processing.
- [EMAIL PROVIDER — e.g. SendGrid, Postmark, or Resend] — transactional email delivery.
- ARELLO and/or state regulators — license verification lookups (when used).
- Cloudflare (Turnstile) — bot protection. These providers process data on our behalf and are contractually limited to that purpose.
- Legal and safety: We may disclose information when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to comply with law, enforce our Terms, protect rights, property, or safety, or respond to lawful requests by public authorities (including subpoenas, court orders, and Fair Housing investigations).
- Business transfers: If Altic LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred. We will notify users of any change in ownership of personal data.
- With your consent: For any purpose not listed above where you provide consent.
5. How long we keep your information
- Agent accounts: retained while the account is active, plus up to 7 years after closure for tax, accounting, and compliance purposes.
- Listings: active listings are retained while active; sold/expired listings may be retained indefinitely in our Recently Sold archive (where permitted by law).
- Buyer chat messages and visit requests: retained for at least 4 years to support Fair Housing compliance and dispute resolution; longer if required by law.
- Payment records: retained as required by tax and financial regulations (typically 7 years).
- Analytics data: typically retained for 14 months (Google Analytics default).
- Backups: routine backups may retain data for up to 90 days after deletion from production.
You may request deletion of your information — see §8 (Your Rights).
6. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to:
- Keep you signed in.
- Remember your OTP-verified session.
- Measure traffic and usage (Google Analytics 4, Search Console).
- Detect bots (Cloudflare Turnstile).
You can disable cookies in your browser, but parts of the Services may not function correctly.
7. Your choices
- Unsubscribe from marketing emails: click "unsubscribe" in any marketing email. Transactional emails (verification codes, billing, chat notifications) are required for service operation.
- Update your information: agents can update their profile in the dashboard. Buyers can request updates by emailing privacy@alticllc.com.
- Delete saved listings or visit requests: through the buyer "My Account" surface.
- Close your account: see §8.
8. Your rights
8.1 All users (general)
You have the right to:
- Know what personal information we have about you.
- Request a copy of your information.
- Request correction of inaccurate information.
- Request deletion of your information (subject to legal retention requirements).
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
To exercise these rights, email privacy@alticllc.com. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law (generally 30–45 days).
8.2 California residents (CCPA / CPRA)
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act and California Privacy Rights Act, California residents have additional rights:
- Right to know what categories of personal information we have collected, the sources, the business purpose, and to whom we have disclosed it.
- Right to delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to exceptions.
- Right to correct inaccurate personal information.
- Right to opt out of sale or sharing — we do not sell personal information.
- Right to limit use of sensitive personal information — we do not use sensitive personal information beyond what is necessary to provide the Services.
- Right to non-discrimination — we will not deny services, charge different prices, or provide a different level of service because you exercised your privacy rights.
To exercise these rights, email privacy@alticllc.com. We may need to verify your identity before processing your request.
8.3 Other US states
Residents of [other states with privacy laws — e.g. Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas — TO BE CONFIRMED BY ATTORNEY] may have similar rights. Email privacy@alticllc.com to exercise them.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including encryption in transit (TLS), access controls, and authentication. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a data breach affecting your information, we will notify you as required by law.
10. Children's privacy
The Services are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it. Parents or guardians who believe their child has provided information should contact privacy@alticllc.com.
11. International users
The Services are intended for users in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the US, your information will be transferred to, processed, and stored in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those in your country.
We do not offer the Services to users in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions where doing so would require compliance with local regulations we have not implemented (e.g., GDPR).
12. Third-party links
The Services may contain links to third-party sites (e.g., agent booking pages on Calendly, agent social profiles, brokerage websites). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. Review their privacy policies separately.
13. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. For material changes, we will provide additional notice (e.g., a notice on the site or an email to registered users). Continued use of the Services after changes means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
